I am Laurenne Siklóssy Moreland, and I am
delighted to present myself as the new Vineland K-8 Center Guidance
Counselor for the 2007-2008 academic year!
I come to Vineland
with a wealth of experience, knowledge, and energy to complete the goals
of the Division of Student Services which are to assist students to
reach their academic, personal/social, health, and career/community
potential. I look forward to working with individual students, small
groups of students, and entire classrooms as well as provide
professional support to teachers, parents, and staff. My work philosophy
is to stay positive and look for skills and strengths in students. When
students receive the encouragement and assistance they deserve, they
have no limit as to what they are able to accomplish.
Now that you know a little bit about me, I’d like to outline what will
be included in this Counselor’s Corner. I have included some parenting
